Concise-There is a clear point being made and only information that is necessary to make that point is included.

Credible-It is believable. Proof in the form of specific details is needed.

Clear-It is understandable. Clear writing is easy to follow; the ideas fit together seamlessly.

Correct-Free of grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.







We've been looking at topic sentences from a bottom up approach. We've been looking at the supporting details in a paragraph and deciding on how best to compose a topic sentence. Now, we'll take a top down approach. We are going to look at topic sentences and decide what supporting details will fit.
